Facial feminization surgery (FFS) encompasses a range of procedures designed to enhance feminine facial features, helping you feel more aligned with your gender identity and more comfortable in your appearance.
FFS can include forehead contouring and set back, brow lifting, rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), cheek augmentation, lip augmentation, jaw and chin contouring, and a tracheal shave (reducing the Adam’s apple). It may also involve adjusting the hairline to create a smaller more feminine shaped forehead.
FFS is particularly beneficial when hormone therapy alone is insufficient to achieve the desired gender-affirming facial changes.
